2014年１曲目は、年末から頭を離れなくなってしまった、どうにもハイテンションでノリノリの１曲です。ハーモニカでちょこっとカントリーなサウンドがクセになります。Timberという単語は「木材」みたいな意味だと思っていたのでナゼ？って思ったのですが、調べたら「木が倒れるぞ！」ってかけ声だったり「やったぞ！」って俗語がある、勢いのある単語なことがわかりました。最近の激寒をふきとばしてくれること間違いなし！

あー、年の瀬ですね。
今年もいろいろあったなーなんてことを振り返る時にぴったりの(って無理矢理な感じだけど…)とてもしみいるこの曲を紹介します。歌詞を読んで泣いてしまいました…(T_T) Christina Aguileraの透き通る声がもう最高です。
この曲はもともとバンドメンバーのIan Axelのソロアルバムで2011年にリリースされたものなのだけど、Christina Aguileraが聴いてとても好きになって、再レコーディングしたらしい。私には女性的に聴こえるので女性主人公で訳してみたけど、男性目線でもとてもいいのではないかと思っています。
ところでChristina Aguileraは痩せてものすごく美しくなっており、来年は私も変身したいなぁなんて見とれてしまいましたw
